Wheel and tyre size 7x15 - 225/50/15 must be from msa list 1a or 1b

Would a medium compound tyre survive a 45 minuet race and still be competitive?

Or perhaps hard fronts and medium rears?

Have run 888's, Fedral RSR and kumho v70a... Happy with kumho's and they come in all compounds...

Anyone with any experience closely related to the above?
