I think one of the interesting things about the Nurburgring is that you have cars competitive with each other when they would otherwise not be on any other track. The Manthey GT3-R and RSR run about the same lap times and both have very capable drivers in the cars.
With that being said the rules are written in a way that the top cars are around GT3 speeds, so the RSR has more weight than what it would in GTE spec.
