Moss drove Astons in 58, 59, and a Maserati Birdcage in 60 at Nurburgring, winning all 3. He had also retired by 1963. So, if it is Moss and 300S, you could be looking as early as 1956, and also at the winner!
I took this photograph at Nurburg Ring in 1959. Moss was driving the Aston Martin during the race but he spent some time testing out the new Birdcage Maserati before the race. Of course he and Jack Fairman went on to win the 1000kms. in the Aston.
