I agree. Most "cliques" tend to be single venue marshals who's social life revolves around a small group of fellow-marshals. Some circuits and clubs encourge this by keeping teams together. I know Snetterton and Combe are two. At Brands, you may find the same observers and flags on the same posts, but their collegues could be anyone, within reason, as some posts, like 4a are not for everyone and the club want to know that they will get 100% co-operation from those marshals. If they wont talk to you, soddem. It's their loss, not yours. You wont have to go far to find a friendly face...
