A6-Pro cars (i.e. the fastest GT3 cars in qualifying) are free to push all through the race, the other classes still have the joker laptime rule (but the other classes are all fully-reliant on amateur drivers, who in general rarely get close to the target laptimes).
A6/GT3 will be split into Pro and Am based on qualifying times and the wishes of the teams. Last year there were teams that qualified fast enough to go into A6-Pro, but then chose to run to the joker laptime rules because 2 or 3 of their drivers were amateurs and the pro driver qualified the car.
