Without a superior car he is going to be in the mix with all of the other top drivers. Last year Hamilton was pretty much a 'nobody' in terms of results, but now with the Mercedes, he's a 'Wonder Boy' again.

Basically you can not judge a drivers true worth when his car is not up to his talent, conversely you cannot judge a drivers true worth when he has a far superior car.
