Fair points. I suspect the context of the Audi quote is what's missing.
The R8 is a rear-wheel drive car, but the A4 isn't - so it's a non-standard configuration, not a product Audi are promoting.
And the DTM is also a series of prototype racing cars, not production based touring cars, so again, the DTM RS 5 is in a slightly different scenario to the BTCC one.
