As for the Paul Ricard race another point to remember was that not only the aero kits were not designed for the Euro tracks, but the tire providers did not have the data and thus were unable to conduct any sort of testing to come up with a suitiable tire for the race. I'm surprised that the Ford of Burt was sixth in one of those races, especially because the Mondeo had such an appetite for front tires!
