I'm with mgt. I remember watching Gardner at Amaroo then at Oran Park in Castrol 6 Hour races. Great spectacles. Some of the best most fun times I have had at the track.
Wayne made as all proud in '87. Sure he can be unsufferable and pig headed but there you go. His performance a few years ago getting pole and leading the race in the FTR car was with the price of admission, if a little short lived.
