The NGTC rules probably sparked the thought process! But developing a new car is very expensive at this level whatever the rules so, initially, buying a car was the first route and when the Golf became available it was our first choice.
Not many people would see it as a natural choice but we are taking into account the nature of our business which is VAG vehicle tuning and the VW Golf is our core business.
