SEAT Sport say that they will support anyone running a Leon FSI or TDI in local and World championships:

Anyone brave enough to want to run a TDI in the BTCC? Can anyone from the UK afford it? Theres got to be 4+ diesel and a fair few petrol Leons available now. What happened to Northern South's TDIs? Were they petrol and converted to diesel?
Edit - side note, I think we need a Super Touring Register-style site for S2000 and BTC spec cars
