Sounds about right- heavy and probably a little underpowered with the 8-valve engine. Looking at Eklund's 1983 results, he scored better on the forest events (Mintex 3rd o/a, Welsh & Scottish 4th o/a) than on tarmac (Circuit of Ireland, DNF, Ulster & Manx 7th o/a) where weight and lack of bhp probably showed up more
