About a 155 bhp was available from the aforementioned Castrol 8-valve TE71, while 185 bhp was possible according to what here in Denmark was called group 1+.

My driving lessons happened in an early 1980s BMW 518 - to continue the over weight/under powered theme.

I will return a little later with what I've got on the 1986 season.
