Can't help with the spring height because we are running Capri V6 springs in our MK 1 Mexico, but we just went from 250lb to 300lb front springs, and changed the sway bar to 24mm, with a second, standard size ( 20MM? ) bar clamped to that. Also put a 16mm bar on the back. Handles nicely now, next will be a watts linkage.
