The James or "Jim" Hunt in question lived on Blackpool Rd in Preston,& YES Dan he had a M4 Mclaren fitted with a twin cam also via Mr Gardner amongst other single seaters.
He was in his 50s in 76. So anythings possible.
One of my friends races a front engined Formula Junior regularly & he is touching 75.
P.S. The "Kim" i mentioned in my previous post was Mather!
