According to Sports-carracing.net,
joint race of SGT and AsLMS (Fuji Aug.10) was canceled.
Alternative schedule of AsLMS in Japan does not decided yet.

To be honest, I wouldn’t be against such cooperation in the future because it helps build a grid and grow the name of Le Mans in different markets. But for this year, we will be going alone. Again in Japan next year, we will be looking for a standalone event at Fuji going forward. We want to be the lead event, where and when that can be possible. That’s our goal ultimately. Sometimes we have to make stepping stones towards that goal.”
Canning one of their only races with proper-ish looking entry list (if still filler heavy) is a brilliant idea.

They say they want to be the lead event, yet they cannot even stage rounds without other series paying majority of the bills and being actual headliner racing series of the weekend. So they are only kidding themselves by saying that.

If they REALLY want exposure they should either
a) Merge the grids with WEC Asian rounds, like 3 of the 5 races... which obviously won't happen as both sides are so stiff-necked
b) Try to join WTCC Asian rounds for more weekend than one - and also somehow attempt to lobby Eurosport to cover some of the racing on those weekends when they are there anyway, perhaps by shortening the race length... which obviously won't happen as ACO doesn't understand the concept of sprint racing like ALMS did
c) Attempt to lobby yourself into F1 support bill for one of their Asian races, like Singapore. Max 90 minute support race to please the FIA... which obviously won't happen for the same reason as B, and also F1 isn't exactly the easiest to go bed with

Also maybe considering merging at least some of the classes with Sepang 12 hours.

This is not a headliner series or one that anyone is gonna care about as it's own entity, so they should be looking out for more high profile series which they could support.
