Who does need 2000+ HP ? I only see chaps of NHRA, because acceleration is their job.
No pilot would accept any regulations that allow such power on circuits. If it not the case, Pironi, Senna and some others would have protested for nothing.
We don't need so much power to make technology progressing and to have good races.
