What? How has it taken away from it? Are you trying to get at the 'being able to adjust to changing grip levels' thing? If anything, i think it has helped.
Don't forget, the conclusion of the races were usually very entertaining. Not recently though.
I hope that doesn't mean the teams are getting a handle on it - otherwise the thrilling conclusions may be a thing of the past.
