That's what leads me to believe they´re majorly sandbagging until the 24h race in order to not risk getting their performance cut. The majority of competitors race in SP9 (the class for FIA GT3 cars) and they would probably be outraged should the BMWs have a clear advantage.
So take BMWs performance with a big grain of salt, they will be there when it counts.

I'm confused - the results link posted says the BMW did 8:22 best lap, as did one of the Audis and that the first and second cars only did 8:26 best laps?
