Ferrari won't do this, as their intent will stay in F1.

Expect to see the Maserati in GT, once again based on a Ferrari platform (nee Enzo/MC12).

The last time Maranello was interested in Prototype racing was the early 90's with the 330/333 SP. While competitive early in its life, the changes in the kind of opposition they would meet, along with the arrival of ALMS, told them that to maintain that competitivness meant that they had to pony-up (sorry ) more money, something that would put a serious crimp in their F1 budget structure.

That was soooooo not happenning...

From there on, GTs would be all they would enter into the sportscar fray. If a Prototype program is launched, it will be under the Alfa Romeo or Maserati name.
