In the past, a lot of Nissan's Le Mans efforts have bought in the chassis design from outside- IIRC the Group C cars were March or Lola, the R390 GT1 car was TWR, the R391 at the end of the 90's was done by G-Force, with some input from Courage, and of course the DeltaWing was Bowlby/AAR around an Aston AMR-One tub .

On the other hand, (and slightly back on topic for this thread), with the ZEOD-RC, they've now got Bowlby on board, which suggests they might be looking at an 'in-house' LMP1 chassis- although I still wouldn't be that surprised to see Onroak brought in as a contractor to at least build the tubs (who's doing the ZEOD- Is it an 'in-house NISMO build, RML, or have they farmed the job out elsewhere?) etc, and maybe put in some operational support like the Toyota/Oreca deal.
