Hi Everyone,

News just through that the Wellington City Council has voted 9-4 in favour of the V8 Supercar street race being held in Wellington. The council will now seek public consultation, but the vibe in Wellington seems to be much more positive and it would seem far more likely than not to happen - a scenario that Auckland could never have offered after John Banks lost the Auckland mayoralty.
