Masters Touring 70s (where my Escort runs) follow the period App J Gp2 regulations. In 1971 & 75 the specific rule states 'Reboring of the engine is free up to the limit of the capacity class to which the car belongs'. For 1976 this changed to 'A 0.6mm maximum reboring is permitted'. So a 1977 Mk2 Escort RS for instance should be 1860cc max, but a 1974 Mk1 RS can be up to 2 litres.

As said, other series organisers rules may differ, but from memory +0.6mm bore is commonly accepted as norm.
