I loath grid penalties, but I think loose wheels are worse. The Gutierrez penalty was a bit harsh though, considering the wheel did not come off and the release was aborted pretty well as it happened!
As far as team actions affecting driver results go, look how gearbox assembly affected Rosberg's British GP! Or Kimi affected Massa!
Ten place grid penalty is relatively minor don't you think?
