Is the suggestion that once you have one there would be no getting a Schedule TL one back? If a car is eligiable I don't see how they can prevent that.
I think by hanging his hat on NZV8 Shayne Harris is backing himself into a corner.
Perhaps Sayne's resignation might free the logjam.

Maybe MSNZ know that the Schedule TL NZV8 cars will have difficulty in getting Schedule A approval (from MSNZ). So in a round about way they may be signalling to the "old" NZV8s that they will effectively be banned from running anywhere other than under TMC.
