I don't think having a guy like Pizzonia come in and be successful right off the bat is a bad thing. He might not be elite, but he's won in a diverse array of machinery all over the world, and having guys like that come in against young drivers learning their craft can be a very good thing. Likewise having people like Adam Carroll or Andy Soucek do the same. Lets be realistic, this series isn't exactly the chosen feeder to F1, but it still has the capability of producing very good racing drivers. I don't agree with the globetrotting, but it seems like Coloni is using that to form connections outside of Europe. Which could turn out to be a very, very smart move in the end. Dallara seems to be a big part of a revolution in sub F1 non ladder formula that could include IndyCar and Formula Nippon, and if AutoGP is the European version than that will give it credibility and separate it from the mess that is the ladder to F1.
