Mind you, with new rules next year that means manufacturers would have to build new cars, maybe chevrolet are only entering because they have last years WTCC Cruze's (So doesn't need to spend to develop new cars). I suppose it depends on how well the BTCC gives exposure to them, but i wouldn't automatically presume we're going back to the manufacturer support that was around in the Supertouring days, or even that well have any manufacturers left next year.
That's me being pessimistic though, if i'm being optimistic i can see Honda, Ford and Volvo both getting involved, and maybe Kia, but i wouldn't think that Vauxhall would return at the minute, with a GM brand only just joining. But At this moment in time, it looks like the BTCC's fortunes are changing
