Why would that be eye wateringly expensive? I would expect a couple of year of expensive development, but once the mechanicals are sorted out, it is indeed all software and simulation, which is a damn sight cheaper than the endless fettling that goes with designing and setting up purely mechanical suspension. It would also mean less track time is required to get the suspension working correctly - twiddling knobs vs mechanical changes is a lot quicker.

I think this could be a big win cost wise.

May even have some road relevance.
