Audi never seriously though about running more LMS races in spite or rumors that they would in the run-up for the ILMC. Because they held the drivers, teams and manufacturers championship leads at the time the rumors popped up.

However-and one can refer to recent posts on the 2010 ILMC topic-Audi has achieved what they need to do to run the ILMC races with a two car team: enter at least one car for two non-ILMC races, and enter the three actual ILMC events.

I would've though that Hungaroring would've made a good test for the ILMC (though not as good as Algarve, Road America or Mosport), and Audi owns and engine factory in Gyor which is where the TT is also built. But Audi never gave much though to doing more races and has apparently decided to stick to private testing post Le Mans for the ILMC.

Considering that 2010 is bound to be Audi's most successful year as far as car sales and has made record profits for this year, money isn't the problem, but sticking to their original plan for racing is the issue.
