I was a lot older than 5 but my first F1 had I4, V8,V12 and H16, I was quivering and spoiled, the next 20 or so years were wonderful but as in so many other series things devolved to one spec, sadly monotonous (in the tone sense). To me how good or bad the engines sound is much less important than variety of sounds.
