he has former ties with Nissan and Panoz, and is current commentator, so I guess it was a publicity tie in. Speaking of Nissan, the delta still carries that badge so I guess they are still giving some money? Is the crew for this race RML, or have Highcroft picked up crew for the race?
O'Connell also spoke about how great ALMS was to be open to different tech like the delta...so I wonder if there is some political play going on to influence the future fusion results?
The delta also went pretty darned quickly today from some times I have seen, which considering it doesn't have an optimized aero package for this type track was both impressive and again makes you wonder how they are fitting it in with the fusion world.
