This is my 1st post so hopefully it will work, my friend Roger Hancock rallied a Capri which I am sure is the mystery you are talking car you are talking about. If memory serves me correctly he converted it to a GPA spec 2.8i but only did a couple of tarmac events ,probably Belgium and then sold it on .In those days I worked in the parts dept at Ford main dealer Curries and I used to supply Gartracs with lots of parts and can well remember sprinting my escort at G/wood when Terry Nicholls machine was in action,just a little bit quicker than me!
