2 shots I took of (then) Brian Chatfield owned cars in 1985 at Silverstone (I think...)

They are clearly the ex Woodman Equipe Esso car from 1982 and the other is a rare shot of the ex Gordon Spice car. I originally felt that the red car was a late G1 model possibly from 1982?

It has the 1982 style shell stickers on the side, but it appears that the lettering has been hand applied. The number 10 has been placed over whatever number was on it before.

I also have a theory that this may in fact be a car that went out to Macau....

It is also sporting reasonable contact damage at the rear, but that could be from modsalooon action.

Still, this is highly likely the car that David Thomas then bought and modified significantly...

Anyone else able to shed any light?
