I fully appreciate your point Jeremy,As I said ,its the easyist part of a restoration project to replicate a chassis plate,but what my point is,is that if a car has had the Heritage done,all numbers being correct,what more could you ask for than to have the Bar Coding from the HTP as well,I take it that the bar code would be pretty much impossible to replicate?.Therefore,the car that has both,must be what it claims to be.That would then save an awfull lot of agro from these cars that come over to our shores from abroad that lay claim to another identity.
