Regarding class structure it went as follows:
Class A: 0-2000 cc (perhaps 1001-2000 cc, as the 1000 cc minimum limit was upheld in the European championship)
Class B: 2001-3000 cc
Class C: over 3000 cc
This would make the Mike Minear Volvo 360 GLT a class A car, the Mazda RX-7 just into a class B car, just as the straight 5 Audi of Chris Heyer.
