Swerving slightly off topic.

Pantera's were interesting cars. They started w/ Ford motors but switched after a couple years to AMC (Rambler) mills if I remember.

They had some interesting quirks. Their wheel wells caught water and were subject to rust. In fact, some owners brought their cars to the shop with as much as 5 gallons of water sloshing around in them. Ballast maybe? I notice both photos on the web link page show Panteras sitting on wet pavement. Either it was raining, or they were leaking.
