Southern Man should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Well he certainly had not pulled out as late as last weekend and the work mentioned in the 1st post has only been undertaken in the past week or so.

Remember it is a country club type facility and a motorsport museum that is being built here with the race circuit being just another part of the total complex.

Remember too that on a daily basis there is in excess of 15,000 vehicle movements past the facility each and every day and that Queenstown alone has in excess of 4 million visitor nights per year.

Jet in from overseas, pick up your Ferarri and saunter 40 minutes down the road from Queenstown and go and have a skid in one of the most photogenic parts of NZ, park up at the end of the day and enjoy a few Central Otago wines with your meal before flying out again, what more could you ask for.

Meanwhile the tourist traffic stops to check out the history of NZ Motorsport in the museum. It is a well planned and thought through project.
