Phew! I thought you were going mad!
Yeah, I know the Costa Brava; once you get the right side of evil Lloret de Mar it's gorgeous. I stayed for a whil in Tamariu nr. Pallafrugel, just a little fishing villiage in a pine forested cove with a few great fish restaurants on the waters edge. Thoroughly pleasant.
Really wiggly roads too!
