ISPL should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Which teams can handle the pressure?

Those who watched A1GP for the whole of last season and couldn't work out how, by sharing data, teams could make such a huge difference to the performance of 'identical' cars had the question answered on Sunday.

In the first stint of the feature race team Germany had a full 2 seconds per lap over the rest of the field (and perhaps most surprisingly team Newzealand). It looked as if we really had found a star driver who could walk on water!

However, by the first tyre change (still all on wets) it all became clear. With a change of tyre pressure Canada, Newzealand, GB and most of the other teams gained 2 seconds a lap over Germany.

What is it about an A1GP car that makes tyre pressue so critical and why do some teams get it so right and others get it so wrong?
