johnh875 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Heavy trucks and buses are speed-limited to 100km/h here, and have been for several years. There was an interesting case recently where a bus was booked for doing something like 120km/h on the Hume Highway (M1 equiv) by the new cameras which measure the time taken to travel from point A to point B (and C, D & E!). The bus company strenuously denied the charge as the M-B bus was factory fitted with a speed limiter – due to the shadier types in the industry they are not always operational you understand! – and after media intervention further investigation revealed the two incriminating photos were in fact of different buses! Identical make, model and livery, and very similar registration numbers. Most embarrassing for the government and their “infallible” revenue/safety cameras!
