I think you are leaning in the right direction. Top row of turn 15 grandstand towards turn 16 would be ideal. I was there last year and asked the guy giving the tower tour which he would pick if he was spending his own coin, he said that spot.
I bought my plane tickets last week and am looking forward to going back. It's a great circuit.
