Say for example Nissan decide to make a return with 3 cars , we now have 12or 13 ..... thats pretty much your P1 allocation at Le Mans .
13 was the P1 allocation for this year .
3 cars per team doesnt leave any growth , without eating into P2 , or GTE allocations , which certainly wouldnt be fair .
If a works team cant make do with 2 cars , then shame on them . They could always supply another chassis to a privateer to get around the issue , and its not as if there arnt teams out there who can handle such technology either .

Factory > Privateer
The more factory cars, the better! A couple years ago, P1 entries were in the 20s. That is enough space for 7 manufacturers, each with 3 cars. P1 is the top class and has the highest priority.
