Euroteam barely got support from Alfa Romeo while entering and developing the 156 in 1998 & 99, they also did not get the same material as Alfa Corse did. i don't understand why as the German championship was a lot more competitive as the Italian Championship.
i remember when STW raced at Misano in 1999, instead of working together Alfa Corse saw Euroteam more as a opponent then as a team that used the same car. i remember the audi or opel teams worked together.
