As has been said in other threads I can understand how some find the show element of the GRC off-putting, but I'm still surprised at how unsupportive many long term rallycross fans are of the GRC. I seriously doubt we'd have Monster putting money towards events and drivers in the UK, nor would David Binks have a full works drive without the US interest in rallycross.
NB: Despite not being bothered by the X-Games veneer of the GRC, even I think "the car wash" sounds a bit silly!
