Auriga should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
We ran bog standard AVO dampers in 2010 when we won EVERY single race in the HSCC HFF Championship and included 10 lap records along the way. I am the first to admit that they are not the best quality but everything should be kept in perspective. Everything needs to be 100% and the dampers are just one small item in a long list of things that needs to be right, including the driver. I guess what I am saying is that average dampers will serve 98% of the grid pretty well. Of course we all aim for perfection and there is nothing wrong with that but there will be no significant gains by just bolting a set of decent dampers on if the rest of the car and importantly, the driver, is not up to scratch.
