If you clean the screen down well, then buff the inside with some fairy liquid/dish soap on a paper towel, you'll have to work at it to get it a very thin layer, but it stops 90% of misting.
We have the same issue with a car that tends to get a lot of water inside (spaceframe and stream crossings/2ft deep puddles don't go too well), and that solves most of it.
