some people dress up like they are going to a carnival, but I think the reality of the 50ties and the sixties was more of a restrained (gloomy?) period regarding men's fashion. I would certainly not call that "fancy". Tweed jackets, a tie, and non-descript trousers best fit the required code. A cap is recommended, but (as you will certainly be able to imagine) it greatly interferes with a flash on a camera
