Malcolm Smith should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
John, thank you for your kind words.

One final instalment before winter hibernation …… there were two races for Scottish Classics
on 30th October, at a non-championship Knockhill Motor Sports Club (KMSC) race meeting.
This event was run as a trial, in preparation for KMSC organising a “Classic Speed Fair” in 2012.

Twenty-three entrants enjoyed un-seasonally fine weather, especially Andy Smith,
who continued his dominant form by winning both races. Newcomers included Thomas Dailey (Morgan 4/4);
Ross Marshall, driving his father’s Ford Escort; and Steve Uphill (Alfasud Sprint).

2012 has the potential to be as good – if not a better year than 2011 – for the enthusiastic group of drivers in their diverse range of machinery.
