Don't think Simon, or indeed I, are all that fussed about Tertre Rouge being the most popular campsite, having it with a cheerful atmosphere is nice, mobbed so there's no room to swing a cat or avoid tripping over guy ropes is less appealing.

A reason why a certain member of the forum for many years kept the review of Tertre Rouge on a different guide to Le Mans quite explicitly negative in a very effective way...
