Chris, Derek C's B27s didn't look great, but blimey he started them v well ! I recall at the June 76 Mallory G8 race he blasted off from mid-grid and made up loads of places by Gerards. Soon lost them though as I recall... It had a BDG in it then.
I looked forward to seeing him again at the Indylantic 2 weeks after, but he didn't show. Neither did Bob Brown's B27, Scannel's did though, finishing last.
